Research conducted by Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital found that employee commitment is heavily influenced by trust in the organisation and a sense that you are making an impact.
In addition, an employees productivity is very affected by our social ties and friendships within the organisation.
The findings mirror other surveys, and emphasise the need for community and co-operation within companies.
