A colleague of mine who heads up the Human Resources Department of a major multinational recently shared the following anecdote with me.
At a recent induction day with a new senior manager, my colleague asked the new recruit had he any questions at the start of the day.
First question - can you guess?
"Do I have my own named and reserved car parking spot?"
Not actually a dream start!
