Humility in China

I have learned over time that it is important never to take yourself too seriously with good reason!

Before our recent trip to China, I told my wife Deirdre that walking the Great Wall was my number one goal. I got a bit of a shock when I heard it was 5500km long, I was preparing myself for the 6.5k version!

While there we did indeed walk part of the Wall at Badaling - the dream was to get to the top; however as the steps weren't uniform in size, we had to focus on each of the steps as we climbed.

Message: Dare to dream but enjoy the trip, and live in the now!
